Is Magusto French or Portuguese

I watched a very interesting feature in Hugh Fernly Whittenstals latest programme instead of a Portuguese Magusto cooking Chestnuts he was using a southern French method of cooking Mussels. The method was identical. Place mussels on a board shell hinge uppermost 4 to 6 inches of long pine needles and set them on fire. 3 minutes later perfectly cooked shellfish. I wonder id mussels and chestnuts go together ?

Sue,

The Penela area scouts do hold races on the same track near the post office in Penela. I saw them in spring this year, not sure what month.

The carts were deffinatly home made by the scouts as quite a few of them were falling apart after the first run. One even broke when they were getting it out of the truck to start.

The rider simply pulled off the broken back rest and carried on with his race.

Great fun!

If I was to buy a bargain property for lets say 10,000 to 15,000 what would it cost to turn it into a property suitable for holiday letting.
Any idea welcome

The same rules apply for all of mainland Europe including France. Everyone that is in your car must have correct identity papers, which means everyone’s passport. For the car itself you need your registration document, road tax, displayed on the windscreen, insurance certificate, MOT certificate and driving licence.
If the car isn’t registered in your name – perhaps it’s a hire, lease, borrowed or company car – then you need a note from the registered keeper which gives you permission to use it out of the UK. If the car isn’t yours then strictly speaking you should still have the registration document, but since you probably can’t get this, the police will usually accept a photocopy which is better than nothing and will help to prevent delays. You should also have the caravan’s CRIS document, if it has one.
Enjoy your trip
